We do some Steampunk events from time to time, but we're not married to it. That said, I wish it was more popular here in the midwest. We have the parts and pieces, so it makes for an easy costume. And the Goodwill can be a great source for the belts, buttons, ribbon, whatever bits you might need to punk-up your existing wardrobe! :D

Question (again): this does not bother me but I know other people have it too and I wonder if anyone actually has an explanation for it: the tearing up when writing or speaking things which really are only mildly emotional or even just nice without anything vaguely ‘weeeeiiihhhh’ worthy about it (weih is how you write the crying sound in Dutch). All I did was call my friend an adorable cupcake (she is) and there goes the tear down my cheek. It’s very odd and as far as I know I have always ‘done’ this. Can anyone explain?
